Plastic Planet

PLASTIC PLANET- poem by Jeanna Dobson

All these exhibits are made from things
that modern life to our houses bring.

Lids, bottles, buckets, spades and wire,
stuff you can't break up or burn on the fire.

Food packaging is the worst, what a sin,
Out of your shopping bag and straight to the bin!

Oh, sure, we can recycle plastic some ways,
but plastic stays plastic for all of its days.

So what of the future? when plastic takes over,
and landfill is full from Scotland to Dover.

The message is clear, the banner unfurled,
USE LESS PLASTIC, PROTECT OUR WORLD !
